A rare and beautiful ‘Egg’ table designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952. Very early black lacquered version from the 1950s. Comes from the first owner who bought it as a set together with two rare ‘Tongue’ chairs and one ‘Ant’ chair which are also available. Fully original in very good condition with normal traces of use and patina. Old Fritz Hansen stamp present. Collector’s item! The Egg Table from 1952 was part of a table series designed by Arne Jacobsen to accompany the famous Ant chair. Like the Ant, the tables were designed as small, lightweight pieces that fit perfectly into modern homes and public spaces.
