Diamond Chair in the style of Harry Bertoia for Knoll

A usable artwork for your interior! In a completely original condition, and more than 50 years old, this design chair is in the style of Harry Bertoia for the Knoll International company. According to experts and well -known documentation, the various details, such as the screws and nuts, suggest that we are dealing here with a relatively early copy. The model appeared on the market in 1952 and this copy has all the characteristics of a model from before 1970. Harry Bertoia was originally a sculptor, who also wanted to achieve an organic shape with less common materials. If you look closely you see a diamond shape, but also a kind of manta rog, a large fish, in the design. Although in the first instance it may seem as if this chair offers the comfort of a creative folded shopping cart, that is absolutely not the case when you look at it longer and take it up. The seat is just right, sufficiently deep and the armrests are perfectly placed, this comfort, in combination with its extravagant appearance, make this piece a real designer piece in the world class!
