Vintage Design
Impressive sofa, a two-seater, ‘Model 6603’ by Franz Köttgen for Kill International from the 1960s. The sturdy round frame is made of black lacquered oak wood. Metal rods are attached to the back of the frame, into which the backrest slides neatly. This can be easily removed if one wishes to use the sofa as a daybed. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in beautiful soft cognac leather. On the corner of the sofa, there is a cream-colored travertine top. with its simplistic design and warm appearance, this sofa brings a lovely balance between different interior styles. The entire construction is solid and based on geometric shapes and sharp lines. Produced by Kill International, so its craftmanship is truly excellent. Naturally, given its age, there are a few superficial scratches on the metal and wooden frame, and a beautiful patina on the leather. Additionally, there is a dent in the side of the frame where something has previously leaned against it. In our opinion, this adds value to the story the sofa tells.
