Vintage Design
Pair of 1611 lounge chairs designed by Rob Parry in 1952 for Gelderland.
One of the earliest designs he did for Gelderland and for sure the most successful.
The chairs are newly upholstered with a grey Kvadrat Tonus (100% wool) fabric. Also the foam is renewed.
The frames are made of solid black lacquered beech.
Very comfortable seating.
Before he started his own design studio he was working at Gerrit Rietveld’ studio who was his most important inspiration and teacher.
The chairs are in very good condition. Some normal wear on the frames.
