Here is a cheeky Americana mug by Paul Webb for Imperial Porcelain Corp dated 1947. Titled “Target Practice”, the big ceramic beer stein pictures a “hillbilly” scene of a baby holding a rifle as his mom runs towards him. During the 1940s to 1960s, ceramic souvenirs celebrating the American Hillbilly were popular for tourists traveling in the mountain and southern states.
