The bulb vase with an elongated neck is one of the iconic forms of the early 1960s. Designed by Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf of Sweden, the form was widely imitated by other glass factories. The vase has a narrow trumpet shaped neck. Blown and hot worked the vase has small bubbles trapped in the glass. The vase is a deep blue- darker than royal blue and lighter than navy blue. There is a light depression on each side of the ‘bulb’.
