Large Mid-Century Modern Murano glass Palmette chandelier, Barovier and Toso style, Italy 1970s.
The chandelier is made of a white painted metal frame and Opalescent Murano glass palmettes.
The opaline coloration on Murano glass creates a translucent effect with some light blue and warm amber reflections through the light.
The large Italian chandelier has 3 layers of glasses and a final ball at the bottom.
It has six lights and is professionally rewired for US
It uses Medium base or E26 bulbs, even LED ones.
The coloration of the opaline glass becomes more intense when lit – beautiful.
The Murano chandelier has a chain and canopy but can be also hanged as a flush mount.
