Rare “Blanc de Chine” porcelain figurine depicting a group of immortals on a molded wavy base.
A group of immortals depicts the Chinese god of longevity Shouxing and his companions, including those accompanying him: a boy holding out a large peach with both hands, two girls, one with an oar, and the other sitting on a deer and holding a pagoda in front of him, a heron standing on one leg, lying deer.
The figurine is coated on the outside with a milky white glaze known as “Blanc de Chine”, characteristic of kilns in the Dehua region. Excellent condition, no loss of elements, cracks, chips or restorations.
