Vintage Design
An absolutely stunning and extremely well made antique lacquered chinoiserie cabinet. This was made in England in the oriental style, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.
It is of incredibly fine quality, with exquisite lacquered decorations throughout. The doors open to reveal an internal bank of drawers which are also beautifully designed, there are even amazing painted scenes on the inside of the door panels.
This has top quality patinated brass mounts all over, it stands on a pierced platform base.
We have had this gently cleaned and revived, there are some minor surface marks and patina to the lacquer which we have left to retain its original character, mostly seen on the top.
