Vintage Design
The two Spanish designers Paco Muñoz and Fernando Alonso-Martinez founded the Darro Manufaktur 1959. Darro was part of the resistance movement against the Franco regime and initiative to overcome Spain’s cultural isolation. The Riaza chair was designed for the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in the 1960s. Muñoz, inspired by the Danish and Italian Mid Century, presented a model in this tradition with the Riaza with a very own Iberian note.
Very good condition.
