This 19th century antique, haveli Indian entrance door was originally found in Haryana in northern India. It is notable example of ancient Indian architecture, this antique entrance door was once part of ornate palaces or forts are known for being grand and decorated with a lot of delicate details. The carved details often include floral patterns, geometric shapes, and religious or mythological imagery. This pair of doors are made from thick teak wood and shows traces of original painted finish including a cream color on the frame and aged green on the actual door. The architectural surround on this door has a carved moulding frame, with floral decoration all around with tribal and geometric carved panels on top. The interior doors have a multi paneled front with a center carved floral strip in the center.
