Pair of Dagobert armchairs in solid walnut Italian Renaissance style decorated with grimacing masks
inspired by the throne of King Dagobert of France in the year 630
They also recall the curule seats of the Romans and present Gothic style decorations with a Renaissance taste.
These seats are characterized by an X-shaped base
Their curved seats are made of molded wooden slats.
The two armrests end in scrolls with sculptures of acanthus leaves.
These are topped with large scrolls decorated with shells and grimacing masks.
Their openwork backs accommodate a large transverse band carved with scrolled foliage on a granite background.
