We are delighted to offer this exquisite circa 1920s Art Deco fluted back walnut framed three piece suite with teal blue velour upholstery. A very good looking and well made suite, I purchased this with a view to reupholstering it in either leather or Mulberry silk velvet fabric however the teal blue velour is just about as fine English Country House as you could wish for, it has aged exquisitely and has a lovely look and feel. The frames are walnut and have lovely carved detailing to the pillared arms. Condition wise, its exactly as pictured, the fabric is in wonderful useable order, the timber has been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished. Dimensions for the sofa: Height:- 79.5cm, Width:- 173.5cm, Depth:- 88cm, Seat height:- 42.5cm. Dimensions for the pair of armchairs: Height:- 77.5cm, Width:- 87.5cm, Depth:- 89cm, Seat height:- 40cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
